> What Is Lenticular?
Lenticular Graphics involve the process
of creating depth or movement within a 2D
image through the use of a lens. A lens
consists of individual lenticules which
give the viewer a different perspective
depending on the angle at which the lens
is viewed. By interlacing multiple images
of different perspective or position and
aligning them with the lens, the illusion
of a 3rd dimension or movement is
created.
> Types Of Effects
3D depth imagery, flips between images,
animation and
morphing.
> High-Impact Sales Tool
In an ever increasing competitive market,
how can a company make itself stand out?
Lenticular graphics give that "WOW"
factor like nothing else. The incredible
effects created are what we like to call
"eye candy". Your perspective target will
always stop and take a second look. Give
lenticular a try and watch the
reaction.

> Processes
Lenticular panels are generally printed
by two distinct processes; digital
photographic for large format, short run
graphics or through conventional
lithography for high volume, smaller
format pieces.
Large format photographic panels can be printed any size up 48" x 96". The lenses used in large format allow for great depth (up to 3') because of the greater thickness of the lens used in the process. Flips are limited to 3-4 individual frames because of resolution limitations. Large murals or billboards can be created by tiling pieces together. These digital prints are of the highest quality, created from a true RGB digital photographic process. They are also ideal for backlit applications.
Smaller, lithographic panels use thinner lenses that are have finer line ruling of lenticules. These are ideal for high volume printing; postcards, placards, small posters. The higher resoultion of lithographic printing allows for more flips or animation frames. Size is limited to about 20" x 28."
